Emily is a doctoral researcher at Queen Mary University of London. She also teaches undergraduate employment relations and work and employment seminars and conducts Athena SWAN data analysis for her home department. Athena SWAN recognises broad gender equality commitment within UK higher education.
Previously, Emily analysed labour market data for the Trades Union Congress and completed an MSc Social Policy (European and Comparative Social Policy) at the London School of Economics as a Fulbright grantee. Prior to moving to London, Emily contributed to gender equality advocacy as a public policy fellow and associate for the American Association of University Women.
